Got a Text or Email from Us? Here’s How to Spot the Real Deal
Wondering if that text or email you just got is really from us? Here are a few quick tips to help you know for sure.
We use HotDoc to send messages about things like results, recalls and reminders. If it’s from HotDoc, the text will include a short link to our booking page. These links will always use one of the following domains:
- htd.io
- hotdoc.com
- hotdoc.com.au
You might also get texts about your appointments - like a reminder, an update about your practitioner, or details if you’ve missed an appointment. Those messages might include links to our site, and they’ll always end in:
- qut.edu.au
- bit.ly

Prefer not to get texts? No problem - you can opt out anytime by letting reception know.
And if a message ever looks a bit off, give us a quick call on 3138 3161 and we’ll double-check it for you.
